About Christen

Christen Ferris has taught art in St. Charles Parish Public Schools for 13 years. She grew up in the same district, where her artistic journey began in the Talented Art program.

After earning her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Southeastern Louisiana University, Christen returned home to teach.

Alongside her work in the classroom, she continues her own creative practice and has exhibited artwork in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
